Bookie was born on January 27th, 2004.  He was bred by Mary Paisley (ToMar Kennels) & Kenneth McKinney in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

In the spring of 2005, Bookie was test bred "clear" of carrying the gene for retinal dysplasia.    Read more about retinal dysplasia here.

Bookie's eyes are CERF'ed clear yearly.   He is at stud to approved Champion bitches.

What do all those initials mean in Bookie's name?  He is an American Champion, he is a Canadian GRAND Champion, and he has been certified a Canine Good Neighbour (equivalent to the US's Canine Good Citizen).

Bookie made history in 2006 by becoming the first Miniature Schnauzer EVER in Canada to be crowned #1 Terrier!  We could not be more proud.
