Beautiful, quality pin and pendants available in a variety of mediums, all with the same detailled hand painted depictions of your dog or breed that you have come to expect from a Connie Krohn work of art.

Luminescent glass beads are edged in copper foil to become unique wearable art, as either a pin or pendant.  Beads measure approx. 1.5" x 1.25"
(3.75 cm x 3.25 cm)  $50.00 each

Stained glass comes in almost every color imaginable and is cut to complement the image to be painted on it.  Edges can be left natural or wrapped in the copper foil, like the beads.  Because it is hand cut by Connie, these glass items can be any size or shape, but are generally only slightly larger than the beads - approx. 1.75" x 1.5"
(4.5 cm x 4 cm)  Pins only.
$45.00 each.

More information on Tauga Nuts:
Tauga nuts are harvested in the rainforests of Columbia and Equador.  After harvesting the nuts are dried in the sun for 4 - 6 months.  Some of the nuts are then sliced, drilled and polished by tumbling water and then in their own media (grinding dust).  Some of the slices are left their natural ivory color and others are permanently dyed.
The tauga nut is sometimes referrred to as
vegetable ivory, due to the fact that it is almost indistinguishable from real ivory.  These nuts have been used as an ivory substitute for over 140 years (and appeared as buttons on military uniforms during WW1)!  An Eco Friendly product, the tauga nut is a renewable and sustainable product and helps support the employment of nearly 35,000 people in the rainforests.
These nuts are dyed with an analine dye, (a dye used on wood/cellulose products), and are dyed so they are as exhausted as possible so that the water is as unsaturated as possible.  Because of this, the dye is water resistant and maintains it's vibrant color, even when in contact with human skin and perspiration.
Please note that no two slices are exactly the same and imperfections do occur.
